Transmission fluid has changed so much in the last twenty years and is nowadays a critical component for the performance of your transmission.

We recommend either having a traditional service done this involves removing the transmission sump and replacing the filter, this process normally allows 5-6 litres to be drained from the system. We then refill with the correct fluid. Please note on some models the internal filter is not accessible without stripping the whole transmission.

We also offer a 100% oil change which is becoming more and more popular. We can only do this if we are able to gain access to the transmission’s cooler lines. On some models this can be a bit of a challenge!!!

Oil wear can cause issues such as harsh shifts, juddering and noises.

We recommend this service is done at every 60,000 miles or at three years to maintain peak performance from your transmission.

ZF recommends oil changes after 50,000 miles and Mercedes recommend 72,000 miles for their 7G transmission.
