Unfortunately the 2.0 TD Bluemotion engine vehicles suffer with terrible clutch and dual mass flywheel failures. The damaged parts end up destroying the clutch housing and, in some cases, if gone untreated total transmission failure due to the transmission losing all its oil and burning out.
Once again we are able to reclaim these magnesium housings with a 90% success rate. We use the finest quality Magnesium welding rods as well of lots of time and patience as the sensitive make up of magnesium means these jobs cannot be rushed.
